Apple Pie Oatmeal
A smell of an Apple Pie in kitchen..who can resist it right? 🙂 We all need to be careful and take care of our weight especially now when Summer is coming. Eating a pie is not something we should do every day. Well, we can, but we’ll gain a lot of weight. Apple Pie Oatmeal is a perfect breakfast you can eat every day, and yes, it smells and tastes like an apple pie. What’s even more important – you’ll stay fit!
Vegan Apple pie oatmeal can be prepared very easily. Just add all the ingredients into a small pot, bring to boil, stir, and you are done. This recipe can be prepared with water or any dairy-free milk, the taste is the same. I didn’t see any difference. 🙂 And making it with water you’ll save yourself a little bit of money.
If eating a warm oatmeal is not something you like eating during hot summer days, let it cool completely, taste is the same. This recipe is 100% vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, & dairy-free.Â

INGREDIENTS
- 5 tablespoons ground oats
- 1/2 medium-size apple
- 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6.8 fl oz (200 ml) water (or neutral dairy-free milk)
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup (or honey)
TOPPING (Optional)
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
- one or more strawberries
- 1/2 medium-size apple (thinly sliced)
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
INSTRUCTIONS
- Dice one half of medium-size apple into small cubes.
- In a small size pot add oats, diced apple, cinnamon, maple syrup (or honey), and water and bring to boil. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens enough.
- Transfer the oatmeal to a small bowl and add topping ingredients.
