Blackberry and Banana Smoothie Bowl
Hello Everyone! Today’s Blackberry Banana Smoothie Bowl recipe is amazingly fresh, delicious, and full of all the good things. We’ve just realized that we haven’t shared with you one of our delicious smoothies. The last couple of weeks, we are obsessed with blackberry and banana smoothie combination.
The good thing about smoothies is that you can make tons of combinations. For this recipe we used kale, but kale can be easily swapped with spinach or mixed greens. In our opinion, kale has stronger flavor then spinach, so if you are serving this to a kid better use spinach instead.
To make a fulfilling smoothie, use protein powder or rolled oats. It will keep you satisfied at least 3-4 hours. Our choice was hemp protein powder. Hemp is full of easily digested proteins, omega 3, and omega 6 fatty acids. This promotes energy production and strengthens the immune system.
As all our smoothie recipes, this one is also 100% vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 whole ripe banana (medium)
- a generous handful of fresh kale
- 1 cup (125 g) fresh blackberries
- 1/4 avocado
- 2 tablespoons hemp protein powder
- about 4.06 fl oz (120 ml) almond milk – add more if necessary
TOPPING (optional)
- coconut flakes
- fresh raspberries
- chopped almonds
- goji berries
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour everything into a bowl. Add topping ingredients. We haven’t specified the amount of the topping ingredients. This depends on you, and how many topics you want, and what amount.
