Cocoa Pineapple Strawberry Smoothie Bowl – Vegan
Cocoa Pineapple Strawberry Smoothie Bowl is a perfect breakfast for everyone who likes to start a day with something sweet but at the same time healthy! The winter is finally over and with Spring we have all these amazing fruits and vegetable to incorporate into our daily meal plans. Strawberries are always better fresh, they have so many benefits and healthy sugars! This time I added a few dates to get an even sweeter taste. I promise you, you’ll love this one!
As you already know most of my smoothie and smoothie bowl recipes contain oats! Cocoa Pineapple Strawberry Smoothie Bowl is the first breakfast bowl recipe without them. 🙂 I decided to add broccoli and pumpkin seeds instead and I got something really delicious and refreshing.
It’s always good to try something new and experiment with recipes. If you want to, feel free to add 2-3 tablespoons of oats if you prefer a more satisfying breakfast. But for me, this was so satisfying and it kept me full for more than 3 hours. This recipe is 100% vegan, sugar-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free!

INGREDIENTS (Smoothie)
- 2/3 cup (150g) fresh pineapple
- 3-4 medium-size strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/3 cup (60g) broccoli florets
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 4 dates
- approx 1 fl oz (30ml) water
TOPPING (Optional)
- 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
- 1.5 tablespoons of coconut flakes
- 1 medium size strawberry sliced into circles
- 1/2 teaspoon hemp hearts
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all smoothie ingredients (pineapple, strawberries, broccoli, cocoa, peanut butter, dates, and water) to a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer everything to a bowl.
- Add all of the topping ingredients.
