Easy Banana Almond Snack
Bananas are one of our favorite ingredients for our recipe. They are so versatile. You can bake with them, put them into smoothies, make healthy snacks, eat them on their own.. So many delicious recipes can be made with them. Here is one sweet, nutty, and healthy treat – Easy Banana Almond Snack.
This amazing snack is one of the healthiest ever! We decided to go with nuts version, but instead of pistachios and almonds you can use blueberries and coconut. Also by using any other nut butter you can make so many combinations of this recipe.
The idea for this recipe came when we were craving for some snacks but we didn’t have anything on hand. I wanted to eat something sweet but also satisfying, but healthy at the same time. At the moment we had ripe bananas, almond butter, some nuts, and we gave it a try :). It is so good, tastes amazing, and kids love these kind of snacks.
The best thing ever is that this recipe is 100% vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 large ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons of almond butter
- flaked almonds
- pistachios
INSTRUCTIONS
- For this recipe, you’ll need one ripe banana, we prefer as ripe as possible. Cut banana in half (see images) to come with two large slices.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of almond butter on each banana piece. Add flaked almonds and chopped pistachios. Here comes the magic :). Use all your favorite nuts, seeds, and berries to make even more satisfying snack.
