Eating fresh fruits and veggies is always better. Especially the green veggies like kale, spinach, broccoli, etc. Even if you are not into eating vegetables, try to add them to your smoothies. They have so many benefits. Kale, for example, has zero fats and low calories which is perfect for weight loss.
Besides that, kale is high in Vitamin A, C, and K, iron, and calcium. It is also an anti-inflammatory food full of antioxidants. Lots of reasons for eating it more frequently, right? 🙂 This recipe is 100% vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, and dairy free!

INGREDIENTS (Smoothie)
- 2 large strawberries
- 1 cup chopped (about 70g) kale
- 1/3 medium-size zucchini (2.12oz or 60g)
- 1/2 medium-size banana
- 1.41oz (40g) sliced cucumber
- approx 1 fl oz (30ml) dairy-free milk (more or less depending on how thick you want the smoothie to be)
TOPPING (Optional)
- 1 strawberry
- 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
- 1/2 tablespoon hemp hearts
- 2 tablespoons whole oats
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all smoothie ingredients (strawberries, kale, zucchini, cucumber, banana, hemp seeds, and dairy-free milk) to a blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer everything to a bowl.
- Add all of the topping ingredients
