Strawberry & Blueberry Smoothie Bowl
The smoothie season has finally started! When the weather is hot we tend to avoid warm meals, therefore, we are continuing with our smoothie recipes! Today, we’ve prepared something fruity, creamy, and refreshing for you – Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie Bowl.
Starting a day with a cold smoothie packed with fresh and frozen fruits is the healthiest way to go. Berries are our favorite type of fruit, especially blueberries. For this smoothie we used frozen high mountain organic blueberries and some local fresh strawberries, and for a creamy texture, we added banana and avocado.
Smoothies can never be boring! There are so many interesting combinations of fruits and vegetables that you can use, and you can never go wrong with it. Smoothies are way better for you because they are so easy to digest. And this is why we have a smoothie or smoothie bowl for breakfast at least 5 days a week.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 medium-size banana
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon coconut protein powder
- 1/2 medium-large avocado
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseeds
- 1 teaspoon peanut butter
- about 3.38 fl oz (100 ml) nondairy milk – add more if necessary
TOPPING (Optional)
- coconut flakes
- fresh blueberries
- a few banana slices
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender. Blend on high until you reach a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Pour everything into a bowl. Add topping ingredients.
