It has such a nice vanilla-cinnamon flavor and it’s perfect for cold winter days. Oatmeals are our favorite breakfast meals during the winter days, they keep us warm and they feel so cozy. 🙂

Walnuts Vanilla Oatmeal

Walnuts in The Oatmeal
Prep time: 1 min   Cook time: 3-4 min   Total: 5 min   Servings: 1




 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 tablespoons ground rolled oats
  • 2.5 tablespoons ground walnuts
  • a dash of cinnamon
  • 6.8 fl oz (200ml) vanilla soya milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (or honey if not vegan)

TOPPING (Optional)

  • chopped walnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a small size saucepan, add oats, vanilla soya milk, ground walnuts, cinnamon, and maple syrup (or honey) and bring to boil. Stir constantly until the mixture starts to thicken.
  • Transfer the oatmeal to a small bowl and add topping ingredients.
