Baked Vegan Donuts
We just realized that we don’t have one single donut recipe on our blog! Not sure how that could have happen but it’s definitely something we have to correct immediately!! 😀 For today’s recipe we made amazing Baked Vegan Donuts! Yeah you heard right, these are oven baked, and are way healthier then regular donuts.
Our delicious donuts are perfect for beginners, they doesn’t require any advanced baking skills, and they are done in JUST 15 MINUTES! There is no yeast, eggs, or dairy in this recipe! Just simple plant based ingredients! Â
These donuts are super easy to make. Besides that, recipe can be modified to fit your taste. We wanted donuts that basically doesn’t contain any oil (except for the oil we used to grease the pan), so instead of adding oil we added almond butter. To replace the eggs we used apple sauce, but recipe can be made with mashed banana or flax egg too! If you need more details about how to do those changes, write us in the comment section bellow!
Recipe is 100% vegan and dairy-free, but it contain gluten!!

- 1.5 tablespoon oat milk

INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (170°C). Grease a 6 cavity donut pan (if using silicone pan no need to grease it) and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together apple sauce, non-dairy milk of your choice, and almond butter. Stir well until combined.
- Over wet ingredients add all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, coconut sugar, and pinch of salt, and mix everything together to combine.
- Spoon the mixture evenly into the donut pan.
- Bake for about 15 minutes. When done check with a toothpick – if it comes out clean then it’s done. Don’t over bake them, otherwise they will be too dry.
