Best Vegan Hot Chocolate
For the last couple of weeks we’ve been thinking of making a perfect hot chocolate recipe, but somehow we end up making something else. For this week, we decided to finally create a recipe that would be the most delicious, the creamiest, and the Best Vegan Hot Chocolate ever!
We did it! If we could choose top 3 recipes on our website, this would definitely be one of them! For all chocolate lovers out there we’ve created an absolute must try chocolate treat, perfect for cold winter days!
As you might know from our posts, we both love chocolate. We had a chance to try so many good chocolate recipes but none of them is like this one. This is by far the best hot chocolate recipe ever! And what is even better is that this recipe is 100% vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free, and contain only clean ingredients. 🙂

INGREDIENTS
- 6.8 fl oz (200 ml) canned coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon coconut or maple syrup (or any other liquid sweetener of your choice)
- 2 tablespoons semi sweet dark chocolate chips
TOPPING (Optional)
- vegan whipped cream
- cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all ingredients, except dark chocolate to a blender and mix on high until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a sauce pan, add dark chocolate chips, and bring to boil. Reduce the heat and cook for about 4 minutes until the chocolate starts to thicken. Make sure to stir constantly! Don’t over cook it, it will be too thick!
- When done, transfer to a cup.
- Decorate with whipped cream and add some cinnamon on top (OPTIONAL).
- Serve immediately. Enjoy your Vegan Hot Chocolate!
