Vegan Chocolate Almond Energy Balls
Ever since we made our first Energy Balls we’ve been experimenting and trying to make so many variations of these amazing healthy treats. Most of them contain dates as basic ingredient. We wanted to try something different but still good and healthy for you – we created Vegan Chocolate Almond Energy Balls!
These amazing balls are perfect as a post workout snack, they have rich chocolate flavor, and are super easy to make. All our energy ball recipes are super quick, and everyone can make them if they have a food processor or high speed blender :).
For this recipe we used coconut syrup as a sweetener, but you can use any other that you prefer as long as it is in liquid state! Coconut syrup is our latest discovery, it’s completely natural made from nectar of coconut palm trees. If you haven’t tried them yet, we strongly encourage you to do! It gives a special flavor to the balls, which makes them even more delicious!

INGREDIENTS
- 2/3 cup (75 g) almond flour
- 2/3 cup (60 g) ground rolled oats
- 2 1/2 tablespoon raw cacao powder
- 1/4 cup (about 60 g) of almond butter
- 1/5 cup (about 65 g) of coconut syrup (or other liquid sweetener)
- 1/4 cup (about 30 g) of chopped pistachios (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all dry ingredients (except pistachios) into food processor and process until evenly combined.
- Then add all wet ingredients to the previously mixed dry ingredients. Process until dough starts to form.
- Form mixture into balls and repeat until no dough remains.
- Roll each ball into chopped pistachios (OPTIONAL).
- Serve and enjoy Vegan Chocolate Almond Energy Balls the way you like!
