INGREDIENTS

  • 10 dates (about 150 g)
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) water
  • pinch of salt (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • FASTER METHOD: Add water, dates, and salt into a high speed blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. For this method pick very soft dates!
  • SLOWER METHOD: Place the dates into warm water and soak for 1-2 hours. Once dates are softened, place them, along with soaking water and salt, into a high speed blender. For this method you can use either soft or dried dates.
  • For both methods make sure to add more or less water depending on the thickness you would like to reach. We suggest you adding less water than what we wrote in the ingredients, and then slowly adding more if necessary.
  • Transfer the paste into an airtight glass jar/container. Keep in fridge for up to 4 weeks.
  • Enjoy your Easy Homemade Date Paste!
