Mixed Greens Smoothie Bowl

Hello Everyone! As we mentioned in our previous post, we will focus on making really great detoxifying meals mostly for weight loss. We all want to reduce that extra weight, right? Even if you don’t like eating greens, you’ll love this recipe. Banana and strawberry totally masked the spinach in this delicious smoothie, giving it a light, sweet, and lovely texture, and taste. Mixed Greens Smoothie Bowl is a perfect detoxifying breakfast recipe.

Try to take care of yourself and tend to eat as healthier as possible. Your body will be grateful and what is most important you’ll feel amazing.

When it comes to greens, try to mix as many different greens as possible. We bought, in our local supermarket, a pack of 7 different greens that we usually use in our salads or smoothies. Stay tuned because the next recipe will be a delicious salad with mixed greens, one of our favorites!! Adding greens into your diet will help you clean your body from all the toxins. They speed up your metabolism and make you feel great.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup fresh mixed greens (baby kale, baby radish leaves, baby lettuce, etc..)
  • 1/2 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 3 medium-size strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon of hemp protein
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal
  • a teaspoon of maca powder
  • 3 tablespoons of rolled oats
  • about 3.38 fl oz (100 ml) nondairy milk – add more if necessary

TOPPING (Optional)

  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • 1-2 sliced strawberries
  • coconut flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender. Blend on high until you reach a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Pour everything into a bowl. Add topping ingredients.
  • Enjoy your Mixed Greens Smoothie Bowl!
