Delicious Spirulina Green Smoothie Bowl – Vegan
Almost every single morning I start a day with a smoothie bowl. It’s the fastest and easiest way to prepare a healthy breakfast. Eating smoothie bowl every day might sound boring, but the best thing about it is – it’s never the same. Each day I use different ingredients and add different toppings. Today I would like to share with you something new, extremely healthy and delicious – Spirulina Green Smoothie Bowl.
This recipe is 100% vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.
Let’s talk a bit about Spirulina. Have you tried it? I started using it recently when I read about all the benefits spirulina has. For all of you who don’t know, spirulina is a blue-green algae powder full of proteins, antioxidants, and vitamins. It’s a great source of protein for vegans.
From my experience, the best way to get used to spirulina algae taste is to start with 1/4 teaspoon and increase the amount by time. Recommended daily dosage is 2000 – 3000 milligrams. I haven’t used more than a teaspoon for now.
What are your favorite ways of using spirulina? I would like to hear your comments and thoughts about this superfood.
