Smoothies are perfect for summer, they are refreshing, nutritious, and super delicious! Today we have for you Sweet Cherry Chocolate Smoothie – creamy, chocolate delight that can be even more tempting if made with frozen ingredients! Trust us, this one is a keeper.
To make this recipe you’ll need just 5 ingredients – banana, avocado, cacao powder, cherries, and coconut milk. The super creamy texture that we reached comes from ripe banana and avocado. Those two ingredients are our go to for all super creamy smoothies that we’ve ever made.
By using ripe banana you’ll have the extra sweet smoothie without a need to add any additional sweetener! We encourage you to play with the ingredients and make your own perfect combination. Adding some super foods could be great option, but this time we kept things simple! For us making this smoothie more chocolaty was the way to go!
The Sweet Cherry Chocolate Smoothie recipe uses only plant-based ingredients which is perfect for vegans and vegetarians! It’s doesn’t contain any artificial sugar and it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, and super healthy!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 1/2 cup sweet cherries pitted
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 1/2 small ripe avocado
- about 6.8 fl oz (200ml) coconut milk – we used full fat coconut milk for extra creaminess
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour everything into a jar or a glass.
