Avocado & Salmon Toast
For today’s recipe we have something that has been our go to breakfast/lunch recipe last couple of weeks! I got the idea from one of my favorite youtubers – Annie Jaffrey – she’s been making these toasts so often. We decided to add our personal touch to the recipe and created the best Avocado Salmon Toast ever!!! 🙂
If you are in a hurry or simply don’t have time for cooking, this recipe makes a perfect lunch along with some salad on the side, or a quick breakfast! It’s full of nutrients, healthy fats, and will keep you full for several hours.
Who said that toasts are not healthy?! They can be, but if you choose the right ingredients, like avocado and salmon, you can make delicious, nutritious, and healthy toast! All you need is 5 minutes of your time, and the proper ingredients. What we love about toasts is the endless ingredient combinations. This was our favorite, but you can choose other type of fish, like tuna for example, and season it with some chilli flakes, if you prefer spicy food.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 large piece of smoked salmon
- piece of crispbread (or any other bread you like)
- juice of half a lemon
- pinch of salt
- pinch of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon hemp hearts
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small bowl add avocado, lemon, and salt. Use the back of the fork to gently mash the avocado, and to combine it with the rest of the ingredients.Â
- On a piece of bread or crispbread, add the mashed avocado. Add smoked salmon on top and season with pepper and hemp hearts.
- Serve and enjoy Avocado Salmon Toast!
