Chocolate Protein Oatmeal

Chocolate Protein Oatmeal is a recipe we’ve been making over and over again but somehow we never shared it with you. We’ve discovered recently a local brand that has the best cacao, hemp protein powder, and hazelnut butter we’ve ever tried. We used all those ingredients in this recipe and made the best chocolate oatmeal.

If you are working out regularly, adding protein powder is a great way to add some additional protein to your meals, but it is not essential. You can totally leave it out.
Chocolate Protein Oatmeal
This amazing oatmeal is the most satisfying breakfast we have on our website. It will keep you full for hours. We just only pure and 100% organic ingredients. Feel free to experiment with the ingredients. In this recipe, we used oat milk, but you can use any milk you like. Oat milk is our choice recently not just for oatmeal but also for coffee.

Protein Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 tablespoons ground rolled oats
  • 6.8 fl oz (200 ml) non-dairy milk or water
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon hemp protein powder
  • liquid sweetener (honey, maple syrup, etc) – per taste

TOPPING

  • 1-2 strawberries
  • 2 teaspoons hazelnut butter
  • dried mulberries

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a small size saucepan, add ground oats, hemp protein powder, liquid sweetener of your choice, cacao, and non-dairy milk (or water). Stir everything well and bring to boil. Stir constantly until the mixture starts to thicken or until your desired thickness has been reached. 
  • Transfer the mixture into a small bowl. Add the topping ingredients: sliced strawberries, mulberries, and add hazelnut butter.
  • Enjoy your Chocolate Protein Oatmeal!
